Ski overnight trip planned (obviously will be dependent on snow conditions!).

Trip Leader: Emily

Time: TBC Fri night or Sat morning with those going

Experience required:  Intermediate - Advanced

You need to have been overnight hiking before, have mastered the snowplow and have the required gear. If the weather is good we will ski out to near Derricks Hut carrying all our gear and camp.  It is a decent ski with a pack, and some steep sections. If we do this you will need to be a reasonable skier and fit. Otherwise we may camp at JB plain (minimal carrying gear), and lower level skiing ability needed.

Destination: Mt Hotham

Approx cost: ~$100 (Fuel ~$30-50 + ~$30 resort entry + gear hire (max $25 if hired from club) + food

Gear The questions below will help the trip organiser work out who needs to hire what.  Skis/boots/poles ($15 for weekend). Other items capped at $25 if hired from club) (assuming we can get into our store room before trip!)

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right gear. Trip leaders can answer questions you might have. If you dont have the right gear you may get left at uni and leaders might be unwilling to take you in the future.

You can put any questions you have about gear in the comments box down the bottom

Gear store will be open TBC before the trip (TBC when sports centre will reopen)

You need to have been overnight hiking before and have the required gear. Numbers will be limited by # leaders available, gear and cars

*** We are keen for more people to organise some day trips to Lake Mountain or Mt Stirling or Mt St Gwinear, the next couple of weekends - let me know if you want to run one and I can assist with getting it organised!**
