Overnight hike to my feathertop, plan will be to walk along Razorback and camp at bungalow spur. We will camp next to the car on Friday night - either at Diamontina hut or harrietville (depending on what time can depart Melb). Sat morning load all our gear into packs and walk to the campsite. There might be option to go up to the summit or MUMC hut without packs .
If you haven't been overnight hiking before, thats ok, i can run through what you need and how to pack.Gear hire (pack, tent, stove, raincoat etc) is available from the club if needed.
Approx cost: $50-80 (Fuel + gear hire (max $15 if hired from club for weekend) + food

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right gear. Trip leaders can answer questions you might have. If you don't have the right gear you may get left at uni and leaders might be unwilling to take you in the future.

- For the time being only fully vaccinated club members will be able to attend face to face trips. Please make sure you have your proof of vaccination available to show the trip leader.
- Wherever possible, members should walk, ride, catch public transport or drive themselves to start location. Where this is not possible car pooling may be considered. The trip organiser will discuss this with you.
- You must respect physical distancing and maintain 1.5m distance between other participants wherever possible.
- Masks must be worn in accordance with government guidelines. Where it is not safe/feasible to wear a mask (eg kayaking) it must be carried and worn whereever practicable.
- All participants must wash hands/equipment before and after use
- Anyone with any COVID-19 symptoms (e.g. excessive coughing, sore throat) or are at higher risk (ie. have returned from overseas within the last 14 days or have close contact with a confirmed case) can not join the trip. Should anyone show any of the symptoms while in attendance, the trip will be cancelled immediately with an incident form filed to LaTrobe Sport
- If you are unable to attend, you must immediately notify the trip organiser so your spot can be offered to someone else
