Yarra Kayaking trip planned

Time: TBC with those coming - its likely to be an early start
Experience required: Beginner
You must be able to swim 50m (2 laps of pool). You must be able to attend the kayaking session on the Tuesday prior in order to work out what boat and other equipment you need to pack. You must also have practiced and be comfortable doing a wet exit
Destination: Yarra River

This trips will be joining up with Whitehorse Canoe club. This trip will be strictly limited in numbers. Sign up ASAP if you are keen and we will get back to you if there is space

- You must be up to date with Covid Vaccinations in order to attend in-person club events
- All participants must wash hands/equipment before and after use
- Anyone with any COVID-19 symptoms (e.g. excessive coughing, sore throat) or are at higher risk (ie. have returned from overseas within the last 14 days or have close contact with a confirmed case) can not join the trip. Should anyone show any of the symptoms while in attendance, the trip will be cancelled immediately with an incident form filed to La Trobe Sport
- If you are unable to attend, you must immediately notify the trip organiser so your spot can be offered to someone else

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right gear. Trip leaders can answer questions you might have. If you dont have the right gear you may get left at uni and leaders might be unwilling to take you in the future.
