Overnight hike planned at Buffalo!

Destination: Mt Buffalo

This is the hike i am thinking of doing  https://www.trailhiking.com.au/buffalo-plateau-circuit/

The first day is quite big so it will need either a very early start or camping somewhere on the wya up. 

You will need to be prepared for winter conditions and this trip is probably not suitable if you haven't been hiking before as its quite big days.  Ill be closign off registrations before easter so we can do planning, book campsites etc before people go away for easter. 

Approx cost: $50-80 (Fuel + gear hire (max $15 if hired from club for weekend) + food

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right gear. Trip leaders can answer questions you might have. If you don't have the right gear you may get left at uni and leaders might be unwilling to take you in the future.

• You must be up to date with Covid Vaccinations in order to attend in-person club events

• All participants must wash hands/equipment before and after use
• Anyone with any COVID-19 symptoms (e.g. excessive coughing, sore throat) or are at higher risk (ie. have returned from overseas within the last 14 days or have close contact with a confirmed case) can not join the trip. Should anyone show any of the symptoms while in attendance, the trip will be cancelled immediately with an incident form filed to La Trobe Sport 
• If you are unable to attend, you must immediately notify the trip organiser so your spot can be offered to someone else
