Overnight hike to Little Waterloo Bay from Telegraph Saddle

Time: departure roughly 7am at La Trobe Bundoora, TBC. Return Sunday evening
Experience required: Beginner friendly!
we will be hiking for approximately 10km, with some hills but well made tracks, no scramling or difficult to navigate terrain. Will be carrying all your own gear, such as tent, mat, sleeping bag, clothes and food, so could be 8-12kg.
We will be camping in tents, and cooking on hiking stoves. You will bring your own food, we can help with menu planning if you're unsure what to bring.
You do not have to have done any overnight hiking before, but must feel like you can carry your pack for 10km.
Approx cost: $60ish for Fuel and camping fees + gear hire (max $15 if hired from club for weekend) + your own food
Cost will depend on petrol prices, number of participants and number of cars.

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right gear. Trip leaders can answer questions you might have. If you don't have the right gear you may get left at uni and leaders might be unwilling to take you in the future.
