Inter-uni social polo comp!

Join us to play a beginner friendly game of canoe polo with LUMC, ROC, MUMC and MUOC. 

Timeline

TBC Car pool arrangements and timing with your club 

6.30-7.45pm - Socialise and eat some food
LUMC will provide some food (TBC- likely either Rogaining style Toasties or pizza), Please don't bring Alcohol - we don't have a liquor licence for the grassy area at back of pool and its not appropriate prior to kayaking! 

7.45-9.30pm - Get gear ready & etup then Polo comp

9.30pm  - Packup time (we have to be fully packed up, gear away and out of sports centre by 10pm)

You must be able to swim a full lap of the pool and be able to confidetly do a wet exit (talk to your club for opportunities to practice before the night).  Spectators are also welcome (please register)

Cost covers pool entry, beforehand food and gear hire. Some clubs may have extra costs for car pooling (TBC with your club!)

Kayaking in the pool is a great way to learn how to kayak in a safe environment, learn to eskimo roll, refine your skiils. Gear hire is free for LUMC members- all you need is bathers and towel 

Please ensure you are able to make it before signing up - refunds are not available if you pay and are unable to make it.

• You must be up to date with Covid Vaccinations in order to attend in-person/on campus club events
• All participants must wash hands/equipment before and after use
• Anyone with any COVID-19 symptoms (e.g. excessive coughing, sore throat) or are at higher risk (ie. have returned from overseas within the last 14 days or have close contact with a confirmed case) can not join the trip. Should anyone show any of the symptoms while in attendance, the trip will be cancelled immediately with an incident form filed to La Trobe Sport 
• If you are unable to attend, you must immediately notify the trip organiser so your spot can be offered to someone else
