This is a mini SWOTVAC trip for those who can't take too many days off. We will be camping at Araps with the SWOTVAC at Araps trip.

Saturday: Short hikes in the Grampians on Saturday to catch the wild flowers.

Sunday: More hikes or join the climbers in the SWOTVAC at Araps trip (do sign up in the main SWOTVAC trip if you would like to climb). Aim to leave by 3pm.

Trip Leader: Natasha

When: Driving up Friday night on the 14th returning Sunday night. 

Experience required: Hiking: Beginners (Grampians is notorious for steep climbs so some fitness level is required)

Destination: Mount Arapiles/Grampians

Approx cost: Fuel depending on how many people carpool, plus a maximum of $20-30 for gear hire (if you need any). Camping fees $14

Gear - Most items are available for hire from the club.  You will need hiking boots and thermals

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right gear. Trip leaders can answer questions you might have. If you don't have the right gear you may get left at uni and leaders might be unwilling to take you in the future.
