Planning a trip to bogong before the ski season starts to get our bearings before attempting the same trip during the winter/spring months. 

Trip Leader:  Xanthorrhoea West

Dates: TBC friday night to evening of Sunday

Experience required:  Intermediate Need to be comfortable with the 1500m elevation gain up Staircase spur. Although there is the option to head back to the car and camp at the Mountain creek where we will be camping friday night. 

Destination: Mt Bogong

Approx cost: ~$100 – ($60-100 fuel/transport (depends on people in cars) + gear hire (max $15 if hired from club for weekend) + your own food

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right gear. Trip leaders can answer questions you might have. If you don't have the right gear you may get left at uni and leaders might be unwilling to take you in the future.
