Ski overnight trip planned (obviously will be dependent on snow conditions!). We will travel up to the base of Falls creek Friday night and camp overnight in a free camping area, before heading up to Falls creek early Saturday morning, and then ski out to one of the huts on the Bongong high plains to snow camp.

Time: leaving Friday after 4pm, returning late Sunday

Experience required:  Intermediate (must be comfortable skiing with an overnight pack on)

You need to have been overnight hiking before and have the required gear

Destination: Depends on snow Falls Creek most likely, staying at one of the huts on Bogong high plains 

Approx cost: ~$90 (Fuel ~$30-50 + ~$30 resort entry + gear hire (max $25 if hired from club) + food

Gear The questions below will help the trip organiser work out who needs to hire what.  Skis/boots/poles ($15 for weekend). Other items capped at $25 if hired from club)

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right gear. Trip leaders can answer questions you might have. If you dont have the right gear you may get left at uni and leaders might be unwilling to take you in the future.

Gear store will be open TBC before the trip
