Expression of Interest

Interest due 6pm Fri 2th August! 

The club is offering some subsidized training for members to undertake activity specific training.  The courses likely to be subsidised this year are

• Swift water rescue (for those who are keen kayakers/ rafters)
• Rope rescue (for those who are keen outdoor rockclimbers)

We will cover between 50-80% of the training depending on how many people are interested

With limited spots available the committee will need to prioritise who the training is offered to however newer members shouldn't feel shy about putting their hand up if activiely involved and planning to go on more club events.  

How it will work

• You fill in nomination ASAP
•  The club will be in touch shortly after to advise if you are successful/not
• Successful members will be notified whether we are going to book a LUMC specific course or whether we will subsidise spots on other events
• Once you have done the training, emaiil through your certificate of attainment to the club
• Come on lots of adventures!

Deciding who will receive the subsidized training will be done in line with the club guidelines. These questions here will assist the assessment panel to decide who is best to receive the funding. If you don't write information here, the assessment panel won't know about it!
