Trip leaders email : mjc.clarkspark@gmail.com
Time: Depart Friday evening, return Sunday evening
Experience required: Intermediate rafting / advanced kayaking
You must be able to swim 50m (2 laps of pool)
*tentative long term plans*
**Trip is depending on leader availability and water levels - fingers crossed for better levels than last year**
Explore the Snowy from McKillops Bridge to Jacksons Creek. We hope to take out a day early and skip the last day of flat water paddling. Jackson creek is 4WD access only and the plan is dependent on having at least 2 4wds.
We will be taking rafts, IK2's and kayaks. Pack rafters are welcome.
67km, 3 days and 3 nights of paddling and camping along the Snowy river.
In order to attend the trip you will need to have:
- overnight camping experience
- attended at least one white water trip to crew the raft.
- Be a comptentent/independent grade 3 paddler to be in a kayak.
Please note that we will have to carry all our gear with us in our boats, so we will need to pack fairly light
