Overnight hike planned

Time: Fri evening  - Sunday night TBC with those coming

Experience required: Intermediate - Ideally you will have been overnight hiking before (carrying all your stuff). If you haven't been hiking before have a chat and it might be possible for you to still come

We wil be walking ~15ks each day and camping away from the cars.  It is likely to be quite cold at night

Destination: TBC - Ideas welcome, likely to be Alpine NP somewhere - Mt Buffalo or Feathertop?

Approx cost: ~$50  (Fuel + gear hire (max $15 if hired from club for weekend) + food

Gear - Most items are available for hire from the club.  You will need hiking boots and thermals

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right gear. Trip leaders can answer questions you might have. If you don't have the right gear you may get left at uni and leaders might be unwilling to take you in the future.
