As some of you may know, part of Mt Buffalo was on fire and they have recently opened part of it back up again. I'm planning to do some hikes up there and see how's it doing. Friday night will be at Lake Catani. We can do a few short walks Saturday morning before hiking in to our next campsite at Mt Mcleod to camp at Saturday night. Should be a pretty easy trip and will be good for anyone who wants to start doing overnight camping.

Gear store will be open Tuesday before the trip

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right gear. Trip leaders can answer questions you might have. If you don't have the right gear you may get left at uni and leaders might be unwilling to take you in the future.
