Approx cost: TOTAL roughly $80-100 (Fuel + gear hire + canoe hire $55/boat ($27.50/person) + campground ($5.60/per person)+ (max $15 gear if hired from club for weekend) + food

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right gear. Trip leaders can answer questions you might have. If you don't have the right gear you may get left at uni and leaders might be unwilling to take you in the future.
