There is a Cycling day trip planned
Trip Leader: Natasha
Time: Start at 10am
Experience required: Beginner - we will be taking it slow so 15-25km/h.
Destination: About 40 - 100km starting from city following bay trail west (through Altona) and heading up to hoppers crossing. Can either cycle back through the federation trail or take a train home.
There are options to hop on the train at Altona and Hoppers Crossing so you can choose your distance.
Gear
- Bicycle (you will need your own)
- Helmet (mandatory but not provided), you will need to provide your own

- There is to be no carpooling unless members live together. Participants will either have to drive themselves, ride, or take public transport to the trip location. Confirm with trip leader regarding transport of equipment if you cant transport yourself
- You must respect physical distancing and maintain 1.5m distance between other participants at all times
- All participants must wash hands/equipment before and after use
- You must wear a properly fitting mask at all times (scarves and bandannas are not acceptable
- Anyone with any COVID-19 symptoms (e.g. excessive coughing, sore throat) or are at higher risk (ie. have returned from overseas within the last 14 days or have close contact with a confirmed case) can not join the trip. Should anyone show any of the symptoms while in attendance, the trip will be cancelled immediately with an incident form filed to LaTrobe Sport
- If you are unable to attend, you must immediately notify the trip organiser so your spot can be offered to someone else
