Waiver (Membership application not valid unless agreed to)
I understand and agree that La Trobe University, La Trobe University Sports Centre, and the La Trobe University Mountaineering Club Inc their employees and agents have no liability in negligence, breach of statutory duty (including warranties implied by section 74 of the Trade Practices Act 1974) to the undersigned for any personal injury or death arising in any way from the supply of recreational services by La Trobe University, the Sports Centre or by the Mountaineering Club.
I understand that La Trobe University Mountaineering Club Inc. may provide details of membership to La Trobe University as a condition of its affiliation with the University.
I have read and understood this waiver and agree to be bound by it. I hereby apply to become a member of La Trobe University Mountaineering Club Inc., and undertake to abide by the rules of the association. I understand that I may revoke this application in writing at any time.
I agree that applying for membership of LUMC I will support the goals and purposes of the club and be part of the club culture and environment
